Personality Insights
Ditto can generate personality insights based on your real conversations — no quizzes or surveys needed. As you chat naturally, Ditto learns your communication patterns, preferences, and thinking style to build a personality profile.
How It Works
Ditto analyzes your conversation history to produce three well-known personality frameworks:
- Big Five — measures core personality traits (Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism)
- DISC — identifies your communication style (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Conscientiousness)
- MBTI — determines your personality type across four dimensions

Viewing Your Personality
- Click the Personality tab in the right sidebar (desktop), or open the Personality option from the sidebar menu.
- Ditto shows your current personality assessment with trait scores and descriptions.
- Click any assessment card (Big Five, DISC, or MBTI) to see detailed breakdowns.
Requirements
- You need at least 30 memories before Ditto can generate your first personality assessment
- More conversations lead to more accurate and nuanced results
- The assessment runs in the background — you can close the app and check back later
Understanding Your Results
Big Five
Each trait is scored on a scale and shows where you fall on the spectrum:
| Trait | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Openness | Curiosity, creativity, willingness to try new things |
| Conscientiousness | Organization, dependability, self-discipline |
| Extraversion | Social energy, assertiveness, enthusiasm |
| Agreeableness | Cooperation, empathy, helpfulness |
| Neuroticism | Emotional sensitivity, stress response |
DISC
Your DISC profile shows your primary and secondary communication styles:
- D (Dominance) — Direct, results-oriented, decisive
- I (Influence) — Enthusiastic, collaborative, optimistic
- S (Steadiness) — Patient, reliable, team-oriented
- C (Conscientiousness) — Analytical, detail-oriented, systematic
MBTI
Your MBTI type (e.g., INTJ, ENFP) is determined by four preference pairs:
- Extraversion (E) vs Introversion (I)
- Sensing (S) vs Intuition (N)
- Thinking (T) vs Feeling (F)
- Judging (J) vs Perceiving (P)
