Spaces for your projects

Keep a project's agents, chats, files, and memories together and review who can access them.

A Space gives related agents, chats, files, and memories their own context boundary. Create one when a client, initiative, or team needs memory separate from unrelated work. Several related projects can share one Space.

Create a Space

In Ditto, open Customize → Memory settings → Main memory, then select New space. Give the Space a name and create it. Select it and check the active memory before starting a chat or adding material.

You can also create a Space from the developer console: open Spaces, select New Space, enter a name and create it.

To switch context in Ditto, open the memory picker at the top right and choose the Space. Check that its chats and memory are the ones you intend to use.

Import into the right place

In Settings → Import, check Importing into before uploading an archive. Review the destination and preview before confirming. The import guide explains the supported formats.

Review access before sharing

For business Spaces, open the Space in the admin console to review people and their roles. Check the Space’s members and the access granted to its resources before inviting someone. Also review any inherited access. A familiar Space name is not proof that its resources have the permissions you intend.

Use a harmless example while you check access, then add the project material. The slides below demonstrate the Space switcher and a project setup.

For programmatic graph provisioning and scoped keys, see dedicated memory graphs.
