Answer why the numbers changed from one shared memory
Ditto connects to any app your finance team uses and keeps one memory of how the team works. The AI assistants your team already uses work from that memory, and changes wait for your approval.

Where finance teams lose time and financial data privacy
What your finance team knows is spread across people and apps, so month-end work turns into data entry and chasing. An AI assistant for finance needs to reach every app the finance team uses.
Two answers to one number
Sales and finance quote different figures for the same month, and nobody knows which one is current.
Agreed terms never reach the bill
A discount agreed by email or in chat is missing from the bill in the accounting system.
Close steps leave with people
How an accrual or a reconciliation is worked out often leaves with the person who owned it.
Financial data ends up in personal AI accounts
Staff paste figures and supplier details into ChatGPT or Claude to get help, outside anything the finance team controls.
What is an AI OS for finance?
An AI OS for finance is an AI operating system with three layers. Your finance team's apps sit underneath, one memory of the team sits in the middle, and on top sit the AI assistants and agents your team uses. It is AI for finance and accounting built as one platform for the team's workflows. Ditto reads every app you connect and keeps that memory, and every AI assistant you connect works from it. Ditto is a central brain set up for a finance team.
You choose which models see your finance team's data and what Ditto may change.
Where your finance team's data goes
Private inference in the Ditto appModels inside the Ditto app run through encrypted, private inference, so your data is not handed to the big AI companies.
Zero-data-retention modelsChoose models whose provider keeps no copy.
Temporary chatsStart a chat that is not saved to memory.
Not used to train AI modelsWhat Ditto remembers about your finance team is not used to train AI models.
What Ditto can do
Read-only by defaultDitto starts with read-only access to the apps and accounts you connect. Disconnect an app and Ditto stops reading it.
You approve every changeAnything Ditto wants to write waits for a person to review it first. You can let routine actions run on their own.
Separate memory per clientKeep a separate memory for each client or project, so client data from one never reaches another.
Team memory stays when someone leavesWhat a person added stays with the team after they move on.

AI assistants for every role in your finance team
Finance leaders and accountants hand Ditto the work around the numbers, from bookkeeping questions to the month-end close. Ditto prepares it from the team's memory for a person to approve. Each tab shows the outcome for that role.
Finance lead
CFOs ask why operations spend or margin moved this month. Ditto answers from the apps you connect and names the message or spreadsheet behind each point, so decision making about costs can use the reasons your team already wrote down.
Each explanation to the business comes with its source.
Controller and month-end close
Ditto keeps how each close step is done, including the reconciliations a leaver owned. Ask for the open close items, or answer an auditor's question about why an entry changed with the thread where it was agreed. Any post to Slack or Teams waits for approval.
The close runs the same way when someone leaves.
Accounts payable
Before a payment run, ask which bills have terms agreed outside the accounting system. Ditto lists each one with the vendor email or chat message it came from and drafts replies for approval. Invoices and payments stay in the team's payables tools.
Agreed discounts and terms reach the payment run.
Accounts receivable and billing
Before chasing a late payer, Ditto finds what the customer was promised, such as a split delivery or an agreed payment date, and drafts the follow-up for approval.
Each reminder matches what customers were told.
FP&A and reporting
Analysts ask Ditto for the notes behind last quarter's forecasting and budgeting changes. A variance explanation for the revenue report starts from what the team already said.
AI for finance and accounting that starts each forecast from last quarter's reasons.
How Ditto works in a finance team
AI for finance and accounting with Ditto starts read-only. You decide what it may change.
1
Connect your finance team's apps
Sign in to any app your finance team uses. Ditto starts read-only in each one.
2
Ditto builds one memory
It keeps what each connected app holds in one memory of the finance team.
3
Ask, then approve
Ask in the Ditto app. Ditto answers with sources and prepares changes for your approval. ChatGPT and Claude can also recall the team's memory over MCP.
Finance teams use finance platforms and AI assistants next to their existing tools. Ditto gives them one memory of the finance team to work from.
Finance platforms
Datarails connects AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to governed financial data. Bill offers accounts payable automation, from bill creation to approvals and payments.
ChatGPT and Claude
General AI assistants that keep memory per person or per project.
Ditto
One memory under those assistants and your finance team's apps. It prepares the team's work and waits for your approval, with the source of each answer shown. Private inference in the Ditto app, and nothing is used to train AI models.
Connect Ditto with over 1,400 apps
Connect any app your finance team works in and it joins the team's memory. Examples include Gmail and Google Sheets. Don't see your app? Ditto connects to any app through native connectors and MCP.
AI assistants for finance are AI tools that support a finance team with the work around the numbers. Supplier queries and month-end follow-ups are common examples. Your AI assistants and agents connect to Ditto and work from one memory of your finance team, so each task starts from what was already agreed.
What does an AI operating system do in a finance team?
It keeps one memory of the finance team under the apps and AI assistants you already use. For example, when a supplier asks why a bill was paid short, Ditto finds the discount agreed by email and the approval in chat. It answers with its sources and drafts the reply for a person to approve.
Is an AI OS safe to use with financial data?
Ditto starts read-only and only reads the apps you connect. Changes wait for a person to approve them, unless you let a routine action run on its own. What Ditto remembers is not used to train AI models. You can also choose zero-data-retention models. Decisions on payments and the books stay with your finance team.
What can AI agents do in finance?
AI for finance and accounting is most useful when agents start from the team's own records. Ditto prepares an agent job and you approve it. The agent then searches the team's memory first. It can find the terms agreed behind a bill or prepare the follow-ups for the close, then save what it learned to memory.
Why do AI assistants forget what our finance team told them?
AI assistants work from what fits in their context windows: the recent turns of the conversation history and whatever you paste in. ChatGPT and Claude keep memory per person or per project. Ditto keeps one memory of the finance team across every AI tool you connect.
How does Ditto's memory work?
Ditto saves what it learns as memories and organises them into a knowledge graph of subjects. A supplier or a close step is a subject. When someone asks a question, Ditto finds the relevant memories by semantic similarity in its vector database and ranks them. The best matches go into the model's context window, after the system prompt.
Can we choose which tasks run without approval?
Yes. By default, every change Ditto wants to make in a connected app waits for a person on your finance team to approve it. You choose which routine actions can run on their own, and everything else stays in the approval queue.
Can I use ChatGPT or Claude with Ditto in my finance team?
Yes. Connect ChatGPT or Claude to Ditto over MCP. Inside them, Ditto recalls the finance team's memory and saves what it learns, so each chat starts from what your team already knows. In the Ditto app you can also use every major foundation model.
Which AI models does Ditto use?
Ditto doesn't train its own foundation models. In the Ditto app you choose from third-party foundation models such as GPT and Claude. Gemini and Grok are also available. On Pro and Team you can bring your own model key. What Ditto remembers about your finance team is not used to train AI models.
Which apps does Ditto connect to?
Any app. Ditto has native connectors for common apps and connects to the rest over MCP. Start with your email and the spreadsheets the team works in. Gmail and Excel are good first apps to connect. Then add team chat and document storage.
Does Ditto connect to our accounting system?
Yes. Ditto connects to any app through native connectors and MCP, including MCP servers your finance team approves. Your accounting system stays the team's record of the books. Ditto works alongside it. It reads what you connect and drafts any change for approval. Talk to us about your setup.
Is there a ChatGPT for finance?
OpenAI offers ChatGPT for Financial Services, a version of ChatGPT that started with investment banking and equity research. An in-house finance team usually needs the context behind its own numbers: agreed terms and past decisions. Connect ChatGPT to Ditto and it works from your finance team's memory.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. What Ditto remembers about your finance team is not used to train AI models. You can edit any memory or export your memory at any time. For more control, choose zero-data-retention models, whose provider keeps no copy, or start a temporary chat that is not saved to memory.
What does Ditto cost?
Ditto offers Pro and Enterprise plans for finance teams. Enterprise is a custom build, planned with your finance team. Memory uses credits and funded storage, with no monthly read or write count quotas. See Ditto pricing for the current plans and what each one includes.
