Ditto connects to any app your practice uses and keeps one memory of how the practice runs. The AI assistants your team already uses work from that memory, and every change waits for your approval.

Where healthcare practices lose time and patient privacy
What your practice knows is spread across people and apps, so staff lose time to manual data entry and chasing updates, and critical details get lost. An AI assistant for healthcare needs to reach every app the practice uses.
Patients repeat themselves
Patients repeat their medical history at every patient encounter, because what they told the front desk rarely reaches the next person.
Follow-ups sit in one inbox
Referral and authorization updates wait until one person has time to chase them.
Know-how leaves with staff
Domain expertise, such as how billing and rosters work, often leaves with the manager who set them up.
Patient details end up in personal AI accounts
Staff paste patient notes into ChatGPT or Claude to get help, outside anything the practice controls.
What is an AI OS for healthcare?
An AI OS for healthcare is an AI operating system with three layers: your practice's apps underneath, one memory in the middle, and the AI assistants and AI agents your team uses on top. It is the software that joins them into one platform for the practice. Ditto reads every app you connect and keeps one memory of the practice. Every AI assistant and AI agent you connect works from that memory, and anything Ditto wants to change waits for your approval. Ditto is a central brain set up for a practice.
Private inference in the Ditto appModels inside the Ditto app run through encrypted, private inference, so your data is not handed to the big AI companies.
Zero-data-retention modelsChoose models whose provider keeps no copy.
Temporary chatsStart a chat that is not saved to memory.
Not used to train AI modelsWhat Ditto remembers about your practice is not used to train AI models.
What Ditto can do
Read-only by defaultDitto starts by reading only the apps and accounts you connect. Disconnect an app and Ditto stops reading it.
You approve every changeAnything Ditto wants to write waits for a person to review it, for safety and quality. You can let routine actions run on their own.
Separate memory per clientKeep a separate memory for each client or project, so one never sees another.
Open any memoryEvery memory shows where it came from. Edit or delete it, or export your memory at any time.
Each team hands Ditto the work around patient care. Ditto prepares it from the practice's memory, and a person approves it before anything changes. Each tab shows the outcome for that team.
Practice owner
Ask what changed this week and why. Ditto answers from the apps you connect and shows the source for each point, including the reasons behind decisions made months ago.
Every decision starts from what the practice already knows.
Practice manager
Staff ask Ditto about a roster or a practice policy and get the answer from the practice's own documents, with its source. Each Monday, Ditto prepares a summary of the week's open items in the Ditto app. If you want it posted to Teams or Slack, the post waits for approval.
Ditto takes the routine questions, so the manager can work on the exceptions.
Front desk
Appointment changes and patient intake questions arrive by email and chat. Ditto finds what the patient said before in the practice's memory and drafts the reply, which waits for approval. Connect Google Workspace and email and calendar changes land in the same memory.
Patients get an answer that matches what they told you last time.
Billing and revenue cycle
A claim follow-up needs what the payer said and what the patient agreed. Ditto finds both across the practice's email and QuickBooks and drafts the follow-up for approval.
Each claim follow-up is drafted from what the practice's memory holds.
Clinicians
Before a patient encounter, ask Ditto what the patient told the front desk since last time, so they don't repeat their medical history. Follow-up letters and referral or prior authorization chasing are drafted for approval. Clinical decisions, medication, documentation in the chart and lab results stay with the clinician.
Clinicians start each visit knowing what the patient already told the practice.
How Ditto works in a healthcare practice
Ditto starts read-only. You decide what it may change.
1
Connect your practice's apps
Sign in to any app your practice uses. Ditto starts read-only in each one.
2
Ditto builds one memory
It keeps what each connected app holds in one memory of the practice, and keeps it current.
3
Ask, then approve
Ask in the Ditto app or in ChatGPT or Claude. Ditto answers with sources and waits for your approval before it changes anything.
Health systems and practices use automation platforms and AI assistants for parts of this work. Ditto gives them one memory of the practice to work from.
Workflow automation platforms
UiPath and Keragon run automated workflows that your team builds. UiPath is also known for robotic process automation.
ChatGPT and Claude
General AI assistants keep memory per person or per project. AI scribes such as Heidi and Abridge write clinical notes from visits.
Ditto
One memory under those assistants and your practice's apps. It prepares the practice's work and waits for your approval. Private inference in the Ditto app, and nothing is used to train AI models.
Connect Ditto with over 1,400 apps
Connect any app your practice works in and it joins the practice's memory. Examples include Outlook and QuickBooks. Don't see your app? Ditto connects to any app through native connectors and MCP.
AI assistants for healthcare are AI tools that help a practice with the work around patient care, such as referral and claim follow-ups. With Ditto, your AI assistants and AI agents work from one memory of your practice, so each task starts from what patients and staff already said. Every change Ditto wants to make waits for your approval.
What does an AI operating system do in a practice?
It keeps one memory of the practice under the apps and AI assistants your team already uses. For example, when a referral update arrives by email, Ditto finds what was said before, answers where the authorization stands with its sources, and drafts the follow-up for a person to approve.
Is an AI OS safe to use with patient information?
Ditto starts read-only and only reads the apps you connect. A person reviews every change before it happens, and what Ditto remembers is not used to train AI models. You can choose zero-data-retention models, keep a separate memory for each client or project, and use temporary chats that are not saved. Clinical decisions stay with your clinicians.
Can we run Ditto on our own server?
Running Ditto on your own infrastructure is an option to discuss with our team, for practices that need patient information kept on site. Get in touch about your setup. In the Ditto app, models run through encrypted, private inference, and you can choose models whose provider keeps no copy.
Why do AI assistants forget what our practice told them?
AI assistants work from what fits in their context windows: the recent turns of the conversation history and whatever you paste in. ChatGPT and Claude keep memory per person or per project, so what one staff member told them doesn't reach the rest of the practice. Ditto keeps one memory of the practice across every AI tool you connect.
How does Ditto's memory work?
Ditto saves what it learns as memories and organises them into a knowledge graph of subjects, such as a patient, a payer or a practice policy. When someone asks a question, Ditto finds the relevant memories by semantic similarity in its vector database, ranks them and adds the best matches to the model's context window, after the system prompt.
Can we choose which tasks run without approval?
Yes. By default, every change Ditto wants to make in a connected app waits for a person at your practice to approve it. You choose which routine actions can run on their own, and everything else stays in the approval queue.
Can I use ChatGPT or Claude with Ditto in my practice?
Yes. Connect ChatGPT or Claude to Ditto over MCP. Inside them, Ditto recalls the practice's memory and saves what it learns, so each chat starts from what your team already knows. In the Ditto app you can also use every major foundation model.
Which AI models does Ditto use?
Ditto doesn't train its own foundation models. In the Ditto app you choose from foundation models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok, or bring your own model key on Pro and Team. What Ditto remembers about your practice is not used to train AI models.
Which apps does Ditto connect to?
Any app. Ditto has native connectors for common apps and connects to the rest over MCP. Start with your email and calendar. For example, Outlook and Google Workspace are common starting points. Then add billing and team chat.
Does Ditto connect to our EHR?
Your electronic health record stays the practice's record system, and Ditto works alongside it. Ditto connects to any app through native connectors and MCP, including MCP servers your practice approves. Talk to us about your setup.
Does Ditto give medical advice?
Ditto handles the work around patient care. Messages and follow-ups are typical examples. Clinical decisions stay with your clinicians. It does not replace clinical judgement, and a person at your practice approves what it drafts.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. What Ditto remembers about your practice is not used to train AI models. You can edit or delete any memory, and export your memory at any time.
What does Ditto cost?
Ditto offers Pro and Enterprise plans for practices. Enterprise is a custom build, planned with your practice. Memory uses credits and funded storage, with no monthly read or write count quotas. See Ditto pricing for the current plans and what each one includes.
