Where financial services firms lose time and client privacy
What your firm knows about each client is spread across people and multiple systems. Staff spend day to day time rebuilding client data and chasing paperwork. AI for financial services has to see that context to help. An AI assistant for financial services needs to reach every app the firm uses.
Meeting prep starts from scratch
Before each review, someone rebuilds what the client said from old emails and meeting notes.
Paperwork sits in one inbox
Signed forms and client requests wait until one person has time to chase them.
Know-how leaves with staff
How the firm handles an account transfer often leaves with the person who set it up.
Client details end up in personal AI accounts
Staff paste client notes into ChatGPT or Claude to get help, outside anything the firm controls.
What is an AI OS for financial services?
An AI OS for financial services is an AI operating system with three layers. Your firm's apps sit underneath and one memory sits in the middle. The AI assistants and AI agents your team uses sit on top. It joins your existing systems into one platform for the firm. Ditto reads every app you connect and keeps one memory of the firm. Every AI assistant and agentic AI tool you connect works from that memory, and anything Ditto wants to change waits for your approval. Ditto is a central brain set up for a firm.
Private inference in the Ditto appAI models inside the Ditto app run through encrypted, private inference, so your data is not handed to the big AI companies.
Zero-data-retention modelsChoose models whose provider keeps no copy.
Temporary chatsStart a chat that is not saved to memory.
Not used to train AI modelsWhat Ditto remembers about your firm is not used to train AI models.
What Ditto can do
Read-only by defaultDitto starts by reading only the apps and accounts you connect. Disconnect an app and Ditto stops reading it.
You approve every changeAnything Ditto wants to write waits for human review by default. You can let routine actions run on their own.
Separate memory per clientKeep a separate memory for each client or project, so one never sees another.
Open any memoryEdit or delete any memory you find. You can export your memory at any time.
Each team hands Ditto the repetitive tasks around client service. Ditto prepares them from the firm's memory, and by default a person approves them before anything changes. Each tab shows the outcome for that team.
Firm owner
Ask what changed with your clients this week. Ditto answers from the apps you connect and names the email or meeting note behind each point, including past decisions.
You see what changed for your clients without asking each advisor.
Operations
Staff ask how the firm's processes work, such as an account transfer, and get the answer from the firm's own documents with its source. Ask Ditto for a summary of open client requests. If you want the summary posted to Teams or Slack, the post waits for approval. For longer tasks, Ditto prepares an agent job card, and after you approve it the job runs in the cloud.
Staff get the firm's own answer to routine process questions, with its source.
Client service
Support requests such as address changes arrive by email. Ditto finds the client's earlier interactions in the firm's memory and drafts the reply, which waits for approval.
Clients get an answer that matches what they told your firm last time.
Advisors
AI for financial advisors helps with review prep. Before a client review, ask Ditto what the client raised since the last meeting across email and notes. After the meeting, Ditto drafts the follow-up email and a meeting summary for your approval. Filing the record in your CRM stays with you. Recommendations and investment decisions stay with you too.
AI for wealth management that prepares each review, while the advice stays with the advisor.
New-client onboarding
A new household's forms arrive over several weeks. Ditto shows which signed documents are back in DocuSign and which are still missing, and drafts the reminder for approval. Identity checks and account approval stay with your firm.
Client onboarding moves without anyone keeping a paper checklist.
How Ditto works in a financial services firm
AI for financial services with Ditto starts read-only in the apps your firm already uses. You decide what it may change.
1
Connect your firm's apps
Sign in to any app your firm uses. Ditto starts read-only in each one.
2
Ditto builds one memory
It keeps what each connected app holds in one memory of the firm.
3
Ask, then approve
Ask in natural language in the Ditto app or in ChatGPT or Claude. Ditto answers with sources and, by default, waits for your approval before it changes anything.
Financial institutions and investment firms already use AI in financial services work, from AI for financial services platforms to general AI assistants. The AI assistants you connect to Ditto work from one memory of the firm.
Financial services AI platforms
Unique AI builds AI agents for asset managers and wealth managers. Glean connects policy and client knowledge for financial institutions.
ChatGPT and Claude
General AI assistants keep memory per person or per project. OpenAI also offers ChatGPT for Financial Services. It is built for research and client materials.
Ditto
One memory under those assistants and your firm's apps. It prepares the firm's work and waits for your approval. Private inference in the Ditto app, and what Ditto remembers is not used to train AI models.
Connect Ditto with over 1,400 apps
Connect any app your firm works in and it joins the firm's memory. Examples include Outlook and DocuSign. Don't see your app? Ditto connects to any app through native connectors and MCP.
AI assistants for financial services are AI tools that handle the work of running a firm, alongside your financial professionals. Meeting prep and client follow-ups are common examples. With Ditto, every AI assistant you connect works from one memory of your firm, so each task starts from what clients already told you. Changes wait for your approval by default.
What does an AI operating system do in a financial services firm?
It keeps one memory of the firm under the apps and AI assistants your team already uses. For example, a client emails about signed transfer forms. Ditto finds the forms and the tracker entry. It answers where things stand with its sources and drafts the reply for a person to approve.
Is an AI OS safe to use with client information?
Ditto starts read-only and reads client data only from the apps you connect. A person reviews each change by default, and what Ditto remembers is not used to train AI models. You can choose zero-data-retention models and keep a separate memory for each client. Temporary chats are not saved to memory. Financial advice stays with your advisors.
Can we run Ditto on our own server?
Running Ditto on your own infrastructure is an option to discuss with our team, for firms that need client information kept on site. Get in touch about your setup. In the Ditto app, AI models run through encrypted private inference. You can also choose models whose provider keeps no copy.
Why do AI assistants forget what our firm told them?
AI assistants work from what fits in their context windows: the recent turns of the conversation history and whatever you paste in. ChatGPT and Claude keep memory per person or per project, inside that one tool. Ditto keeps one memory of the firm across every AI tool you connect, so each assistant starts from what the firm already knows.
How does Ditto's memory work?
Ditto saves what it learns as memories and organises them into a knowledge graph of subjects, such as a client household or a firm policy. When someone asks a question, Ditto finds the relevant memories by semantic similarity in its vector database. It ranks them and adds the best matches to the model's context window, after the system prompt.
Can we choose which tasks run without approval?
Yes. Human oversight is the default: every change Ditto wants to make in a connected app waits for a person at your firm to approve it. You choose which routine actions can run on their own, such as updating the firm's own requests tracker. Everything else stays in the approval queue. Keep client messages there too.
Can I use ChatGPT or Claude with Ditto in my firm?
Yes. Connect ChatGPT or Claude to Ditto over MCP. Inside them, Ditto recalls the firm's memory and saves what it learns, so each chat starts from what your team already knows. In the Ditto app you can also use every major foundation model. Advice to clients still comes from your advisors.
Which AI models does Ditto use?
Ditto doesn't train its own foundation models. In the Ditto app you choose from foundation models such as GPT and Claude. Gemini and Grok are also available. On Pro and Team you can bring your own model key, and those requests go to that provider. What Ditto remembers about your firm is not used to train AI models.
Which apps does Ditto connect to?
Any app. Ditto has native connectors for common apps and connects to the rest over MCP. Start with email and document signing. Outlook and DocuSign are examples, and spreadsheets in Excel can follow. Then add team chat and billing. Client service and the back office then work from the same memory.
Does Ditto connect to our CRM?
Your CRM stays the firm's record system, and Ditto works alongside it. Ditto connects to any app through native connectors and MCP, including MCP servers your firm approves. It starts read-only in each app you connect, and disconnecting an app stops Ditto reading it. Talk to us about your setup.
Does Ditto give financial advice?
No. Ditto handles the work around client service. Client messages and paperwork are typical examples. Decision making on recommendations and investments stays with your advisors. Ditto does not replace human expertise, and a person at your firm approves what it drafts.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Your firm's data and what Ditto remembers about your clients are not used to train AI models. You can edit or delete any memory. You can also export your whole memory with Ditto Passport, and use temporary chats that are never saved to memory.
What does Ditto cost?
Ditto offers Pro and Enterprise plans for financial services firms. Enterprise is a custom build, planned with your firm. Memory uses credits and funded storage, with no monthly read or write count quotas. See Ditto pricing for the current plans and what each one includes.
