AI OS for Insurance Teams & AI Assistants

Run your whole agency from one shared memory

Ditto connects to any app your agency uses and keeps one memory of how the agency runs. The AI assistants your team already uses work from that memory, and every change waits for your approval.

Where insurance agencies lose time and client privacy

What your agency knows is spread across people and apps, so staff lose time to manual processes and chasing carriers. When they use AI for insurance tasks, they paste that history in by hand. An AI assistant for insurance needs to reach every app the agency uses.

  • Clients repeat themselves

What a client told the producer rarely reaches the account manager who services the policy.

  • Renewal details sit in one inbox

Loss runs wait in one person's inbox while the renewal spreadsheet falls behind.

  • Know-how leaves with staff

How each carrier and each account is handled often leaves with the account manager who ran it.

  • Client details end up in personal AI accounts

Staff paste client emails into ChatGPT or Claude to get help, outside anything the agency controls.

What is an AI OS for insurance?

An AI OS for insurance is an AI operating system with three layers. Your agency's apps sit underneath. One memory sits in the middle. The AI assistants and AI agents your team uses sit on top, joined into one platform for the agency. Ditto keeps one memory of the agency's insurance operations and prepares the work around each policy. Underwriting and claims decisions stay with carriers. Every AI assistant you connect works from that memory, and anything Ditto wants to change waits for your approval. Ditto is a central brain set up for an agency.

Where your agency's data goes

  • Private inference in the Ditto appModels inside the Ditto app run through encrypted, private inference, so your data is not handed to the big AI companies.
  • Zero-data-retention modelsChoose models whose provider keeps no copy.
  • Temporary chatsStart a chat that is not saved to memory.
  • Not used to train AI modelsWhat Ditto remembers about your agency is not used to train AI models.

What Ditto can do

  • Read-only by defaultDitto starts by reading only the apps and accounts you connect. Disconnect an app and Ditto stops reading it.
  • You approve every changeAnything Ditto wants to write waits for a person to review it first. You can let routine actions run on their own.
  • Separate memory per clientKeep a separate memory for each client or project, so one never sees another.
  • Open any memoryEvery memory shows where it came from. Edit or delete it, or export your memory at any time.

AI assistants for every team in your agency

Each team hands Ditto the work in its core insurance workflows. Ditto prepares it from the agency's memory, and a person approves it before anything changes. The tabs show AI for insurance work in five roles. Each tab shows the outcome for that team.

Agency owner

Ask what changed across the book this week and why. Ditto answers from the apps you connect and shows the source for each point, including the reasons behind decisions made months ago.

Every decision starts from what the agency already knows.

How Ditto works in an insurance agency

AI for insurance with Ditto starts read-only. You decide what it may change.

1

Connect your agency's apps

Sign in to any app your agency uses. Ditto starts read-only in each one.

2

Ditto builds one memory

It keeps what each connected app holds in one memory of the agency, and keeps it current.

3

Ask, then approve

Ask in the Ditto app or in ChatGPT or Claude. Ditto answers with sources and waits for your approval before it changes anything.

Ditto vs other insurance technology

Carriers and agencies in the insurance industry use AI platforms and AI assistants for parts of this work. Ditto gives them one memory of the agency to work from.

  • Insurance AI platforms

Earnix's AIOS applies AI to insurer decisions such as underwriting and claims. Floatbot offers AI receptionists and AI agents for insurance agencies.

  • ChatGPT and Claude

General AI assistants keep memory per person or per project.

  • Ditto

One memory under those assistants and your agency's apps. It prepares the agency's work and waits for your approval. Underwriting and claims decisions stay with carriers. Private inference in the Ditto app, and nothing is used to train AI models.

Connect Ditto with over 1,400 apps

Connect any app your agency works in and it joins the agency's memory. Examples include Outlook and Salesforce. Don't see your app? Ditto connects to any app through native connectors and MCP.

Frequently asked questions

What are AI assistants for insurance?

AI assistants for insurance are AI tools that help an agency with the work around each policy. Renewals and policy change requests are typical examples. With Ditto, AI for insurance works from one memory of your agency, so each task starts from what clients and staff already said. Every change Ditto wants to make waits for your approval.

What does an AI operating system do in an insurance agency?

An AI OS for insurance keeps one memory of the agency under the apps and AI assistants your team already uses. For example, when a client emails about a renewal, Ditto finds the loss runs that already arrived, answers what is still open with its sources, and drafts the reply for a person to approve.

Is an AI OS safe to use with client information?

Ditto starts read-only and only reads the apps you connect. A person reviews every change before it happens, and what Ditto remembers is not used to train AI models. You can choose zero-data-retention models, keep a separate memory for each client or project, and use temporary chats that are not saved. Underwriting and claims decisions stay with carriers.

Can we run Ditto on our own server?

Running Ditto on your own infrastructure is an option to discuss with our team, for agencies that need client information kept on site. Get in touch about your setup. In the Ditto app, models run through encrypted private inference. You can also choose models whose provider keeps no copy.

Why do AI assistants forget what our agency told them?

AI assistants work from what fits in their context windows: the recent turns of the conversation history and whatever you paste in. ChatGPT and Claude keep memory per person or per project, so what one account manager told them doesn't reach the rest of the agency. Ditto keeps one memory of the agency across every AI tool you connect.

How does Ditto's memory work?

Ditto saves what it learns as memories and organises them into a knowledge graph of subjects. A client is one subject. A carrier is another. When someone asks a question, Ditto finds the relevant memories by semantic similarity in its vector database and ranks them. It adds the best matches to the model's context window, after the system prompt.

Can we choose which tasks run without approval?

Yes. Every change Ditto wants to make in a connected app waits for human review by a person at your agency, so human oversight is the default. You choose which routine actions run as automated tasks, and everything else stays in the approval queue.

Can I use ChatGPT or Claude with Ditto in my agency?

Yes. Connect ChatGPT or Claude to Ditto over MCP. Inside them, Ditto recalls the agency's memory and saves what it learns. The same goes for agentic AI tools and other AI agents for insurance work that connect over MCP. In the Ditto app you can also use every major foundation model.

Which AI models does Ditto use?

Ditto doesn't train its own foundation models. In the Ditto app you pick GPT or Claude models. Gemini and Grok are also there. On Pro and Team you can bring your own model key. What Ditto remembers about your agency is not used to train AI models.

Which apps does Ditto connect to?

Any app. Ditto has native connectors for common apps and connects to the rest over MCP. Start with your email and calendar. Common starting points include Outlook and Salesforce. Then add team chat and the documents your agency works from.

Does Ditto connect to our agency management system?

Your agency management system stays the agency's record system, and Ditto works alongside your existing systems. Ditto connects to any app through native connectors and MCP, including MCP servers your agency approves. It does not replace your record system. Talk to us about your setup.

Does Ditto make underwriting or claims decisions?

No. Ditto handles the work around each policy. Renewal follow-ups and client updates are typical examples. Underwriting and claims decisions stay with carriers and their adjusters, and coverage recommendations stay with your licensed staff. A person at your agency approves what Ditto drafts.

Is our data used to train AI models?

No. What Ditto remembers about your agency and its clients is never used to train AI models. Each memory shows where it came from. You can edit or delete any memory, and export your whole memory as a signed Ditto Passport.

What does Ditto cost?

Ditto offers Pro and Enterprise plans for insurance agencies. Enterprise is a custom build that we plan with your agency around the apps it runs on. Memory uses credits and funded storage, with no monthly read or write count quotas. See Ditto pricing for the current plans and what each one includes.
